The purpose of a choir is to enhance the aura of prayer at church services and to act as a leader to assist the community in singing.
Being a member of a choir requires a person to have an ability to sing (ability to hear pitch) and remain faithful to weekly practices and services.
A choir usually forms it's own type of family bond, while working, praying, and socializing together usually twice a week.
The choir of St. Ann's is always willing to exercise Christian action by going wherever invited to educate others on the Melkite church through it's liturgy and to share the gift of music with the sick and those who are alone.
IN NEED OF CHOIR MEMBERS!
The choir needs new members to insure its existence for the future. We currently need new members in all voice parts. It only takes your decision to share your gift of singing with your church community. We need you to take this request seriously. If you are interested, please contact Dennis Sartorio - 973.403.8476
