The Religious Education program is open to the children of all parishioner families. Elementary Religious Education begins in Pre-K, and continues through eighth grade graduation. Upon 8th grade graduation there is a 4 year high school program. All children turning 4 years old by October of the school year can be enrolled in Pre-K. Children that are as young as 3 1/2 years old can be enrolled, but they must remain in Pre-K for two years.
Religious Education begins on the 2nd or 3rd Sunday of September and runs for 33 weeks. It typically ends on the 3rd Sunday in May. Before the start of the school year, registration forms are mailed to the homes of families with school aged children and announcements are placed in the bulletin. There is a nominal registration fee required which covers supplies needed throughout the school year. Each classroom has one teacher, and depending on grade, one or more aides. All teachers are parishioners that volunteer their time and talent. A manual, which is approved by the Diocese, is given to each teacher to develop a lesson plan.
